Matt Witte

Private Equity

Mr. Witte co-founded Marwit Capital, LLC and Marwit Capital Company, L.P. in 1995. He was a Director of Marwit Capital Corp. from 1984 to 1994. In addition to his 25 years of investment management experience, including the last 12 years in private equity with Marwit Capital, Mr. Witte has also served in an active management capacity for two of Marwit’s portfolio companies. In 2000, he served as Executive Vice President-Finance and Business Development for Paciolan and from October 2001 through December 2003 he served as interim CEO of IndX Software Corporation, ultimately running IndX until its acquisition by Siemens A.G. in 2003. Prior to co-founding Marwit Capital, for 13 years, Mr. Witte served as a general partner in several institutionally-backed real estate investment and development companies specializing in large-scale commercial real estate projects in California. Previously, he was a General Partner of the Related Companies, a New York based investment firm, and with Grosvenor International Holdings, the overseas investment arm of the Grosvenor Estate of London.

Mr. Witte has served as past President of the Western Association of Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs) and a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Association of SBICs. Mr. Witte is a graduate of Cornell University and is currently a Director of Paciolan, Inc. and Fire Grill, LLC.
