Jeff Black is a Partner with McDermott & Bull Executive Search; he is the longest tenured search consultant in the firm since joining in 2003. His practice is focused on helping companies realize an ideal fit between executive talent and the company’s culture and values. Mr. Black’s clients include: QLogic, Panda Restaurant Group, Ducommun, Snap-on Tools, CareMeridian, Freedom Innovations, Newport Corporation, Santa Catalina Island Company, Accuride and Canon.

Prior to joining McDermott & Bull, Mr. Black served as Vice President, Commercial Services, for Raytheon Technical Services Company, a $2B global services subsidiary of the Raytheon Company, a leading manufacturer of aerospace, defense, and information systems products. Previously Mr. Black served as Vice President of Hughes Technical Services Company, leading growing operating divisions of up to $130M in revenue and 1000 employees serving U.S. and foreign government clients with professional and technical services.

Having earned a B.A. in Business Management in 1980 and an MBA in Finance in 1984 from California State University, Fullerton, Jeff and Laura Black have been married for over 30 years with two adult daughters and currently reside in Yorba Linda, CA. Mr. Black serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the YMCA of Orange County and supports character education through The Ethical Edge. In addition, Mr. Black is the founder of DifferenceMakersOC whose purpose is creating significant relationships among Orange County professionals who seek a balance between business success and ‘making a difference’ through participating in not-for-profit and charitable causes.
