YLO Program Description

Objective:

  • Support mid-career leader's optimization of their work and life success.

Methodology:

  • Customized individual leadership development using experiential, classical and peer coaching/learning with each group.  This is facilitated by a proven senior leadership coach with extraordinary delivery results in similar settings.  Vance will lead each 2010 & 2011 YLO with occasional assistance from proven senior associates.
  • Ten full day sessions hosted by participants in myriad learning environments, including multi-cultural experiences, real-time member's cases and best practice classroom curriculum supplemented with visiting resources. We constantly align the learning priorities with the group's needs and interests. The year-long program is launched with a two and a half day retreat at our mountain retreat in Idyllwild.
  • Another crucial component is the supportive team members who hold each other accountable for implementing actions that make their organizations better and more profitable.
  • Myriad social opportunities supplement participants learning's during the year . . . . as they interact with peers and more senior leaders at private clubs, University settings and in senior leaders homes.

 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Sponsored by participant's employer or another senior leader who mentors his/her progress via periodic one-on-one sessions and speaks to the group when hosting the group's meeting.

YLO-17 kicks-off October 22-24, 2010

 A SOLID REMINDER

May I have the courage today
To live the life that I would love
To postpone my dream no longer
But do at last what I came here for
And waste my heart on fear no more

- John O'Donoghue
