Jane Roeder is a seasoned facilitator with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit arena. She is passionate about leadership development, teambuilding, and organizational capacity building. Jane engenders a sense of ownership and excellence within client leadership teams by helping them stay true to their organizational mission and individual strengths.

In 2005, Jane was appointed Managing Director of the Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership at California State University, Long Beach. She is responsible for daily operations, strategic planning, program implementation, event planning, and fundraising for the center. Previously, Jane served as Executive Director of Leadership Long Beach, demonstrating visionary leadership that moved the organization to international prominence and acclaim. She is a graduate of the Leadership Long Beach Class of 1996.

Jane earned her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees at UCLA and completed a Professional Coaching and Mentoring Certificate program at CSULB. She has been a facilitator trainer for over ten years, helping clients create internal leadership strategies that result in increased production, profitability, and customer and employee satisfaction.

An active community volunteer for most of her life, Jane is a past president of the Junior League of Long Beach, Long Beach Law Advocates, and Minnie Gant Elementary School PTA. She serves on the Mentoring Business Program Advisory Board in the College of Business Administration at CSULB. Jane is a member of the Rotary Club of Long Beach, Junior League of Long Beach, and Long Beach Branch of NAACP.

Jane’s greatest gift is being the mother of two wonderful children. She loves to explore the world and has recently traveled to Egypt, Greece, Thailand, Tanzania, and New Zealand.
