Irv Margol is a principal of Eddy Associates, Inc. He brings to his practice many years experience as a senior executive with extensive staff responsibilities across such industries as financial services, aerospace, manufacturing and entertainment. He has special expertise in executive coaching, career transition, change leadership and team building.

Prior to joining Eddy Associates, Inc., Irv was Senior Executive Consultant for Right Management Consultants, Inc. having come to that role from Janotta Bray, an international career consulting firm specializing in executive outplacement. At Janotta Bray, he served as co-managing director. Prior to this association, he was Chief Administrative Officer at Barry Gordy Enterprises.

Previously, Irv was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Security Pacific Corporation. In that capacity, he was responsible for all administrative departments including Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Legal, Economics and Community Redevelopment Programs. At Security Pacific, he was instrumental in that institution being named one of the ’100 Best Companies to Work For’ over a 5 year period and one of the best companies for minorities and women to move into management positions. Prior to joining Security Pacific, he was Vice President at Bendix Corporation, Aerospace Group. Here he was responsible for Productivity Improvement Programs and Human Resources. Other experience includes management positions with Sperry-Rand and ACF Industries, Inc.

Irv has a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Washington University. He has taught executive management courses at UCLA, Duke University, University of Colorado and University of Washington and currently teaches the Change Management course at UCLA’s Ojai Program for Corporate Executives.

Irv has served as President of the Los Angeles Chapters of both the American Red Cross and American Cancer Society. He was also a member of the Boards of the Braille Institute, UCLA Management Education Associates, and The American Heart Association. He is currently on the Boards of Gateway Hospital, the Holocaust Tracing Center and the Women’‘s Economic Development Corporation.

His coaching and career transition consulting clients have included Home Depot, Disney, Syncor Pharmaceuticals, Bank of America and American Express.
