Debbie understands organizational structure, leadership issues, emerging leader concerns, the resume screening, interviewing and hiring processes, and how candidates can successfully market themselves to hiring managers. Having experienced career management and transition herself, she understands these issues especially well.
Her extensive background includes more than twenty years in human resource management with organizations such as Fluor Corporation, Times Mirror, Rockwell International and Beckman Coulter. For the past three years she has been affiliated with Lee Hecht Harrison coaching clients in career management, developing and presenting workshops. In addition, she runs monthly meetings and provides coaching for Orange County women small business owners and frequently presents seminars at Southern California universities on various aspects of the job search and career management processes.
Debbie’s empathic yet honest, straightforward approach to working with leaders and career management clients provides the necessary clarity and confidence for putting concerns in perspective. Her clients find this to be highly valuable whether identifying and mastering the most productive and effective job search techniques or enhancing individual and organizational performance.
Debbie obtained her bachelor’s degree and Secondary Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton and her master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Chapman University in Orange. She is an active member, serving on many committees of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association (PCMA).
